Includes: Cognitive Skill Development Lessons, which are whole group discussions of a problem, issue, situation, etc., set at 30 minutes per week with the whole class and built in part from the CoRT Model for teaching thinking. Follow-up independent work with the issue or problem is included (optional but recommended); and, Lateral Skill Development Lessons, which involve the creative, inventive, innovative, imaginative side of thinking. The tasks are done on drawing paper and set at 30 minutes per week. The results are examined, labeled, discussed, and corrected as necessary.
